Here are some of the books and magazines that helped me along the way to my journey towards learning how to knit.
1. ) Stitch'N Bitch Superstar Knitting by Debbie Stoller - There's a chapter on body measurements and pattern drafting. This is a great reference tool for learning how to make the following patterns: Drop Shoulder Sleeves, Raglan Sleeves, Circular Yoke & Set-in Sleeves.
2.) Big Book of Knitting by Katharina Buss - great tips on how to finish your projects with different necklines or collars. How to add details such as pockets and different buttonholes even zippers.
1.) 400 Knitting Stitches by Murdoch Books
2.) The Encyclopedia of Knitting by Lesley Stanfield & Melody Griffits
3.) The Knitter's Bible by Claire Crompton
Most of these books can be found on Amazon.
Aside from books, I also subscribe in e-zines on my iPad: The Knitter, Vogue Knitting and Simply Knitting.
There's a lot more of references that you could look up, these are just some that I found very helpful.
Happy knitting. :)
